The Godot Report #3

Another release candidate for Godot 3.5, with another couple late but quite important changes for Android: full scoped storage support, and support for NDK r23. And another set of important bug fixes for rendering, navigation, and more!

A tile map shader emulating array uniform functionality that enables “constant” performance scaling regardless of tilemap size.

This is a direct port of the Clickteam shader used in FNAF 1-5 (specificaly the shader used in the new FNAF mobile ports)

I’ve seen several posts on the godot subreddit asking how to create the fake 3D effect from the Five Nights At Freddy’s series. I was a bit curious about how to do this and did a bit of digging. (Sources linked at bottom)

Lights out is a mobile recreation of a classic puzzle game played on a 5x5 grid of lights.

Your car has died in the middle of nowhere. The only thing you see is darkness and a flashlight lying on the grass. Your only option is to go on foot, but where will the journey lead you to?

Rubik is a 2 player game for you to challenge your friends!

*I am aware of a bug that prevents you from completing level 3.You are an unnamed triangle– only armed with your movement and ability to hop between colors. Collect all the colors and see how far you can get before meeting your end.

Evil geometric shapes approach! You need to defend your base against the evil geometric shapes with style. Only the rhythm can stop them. Give them a geometric break!

Control and grow your collection of shapes using the controls above to pick a side to add each new shape (subtle nudge about the game jam theme!). Every shape you add gives you more points, with shapes with more sides giving even more points! (e.g. adding a pentagon will give you an extra five points per second)

Your job is to protect the elixir of life to stop the ghosts from returning to the living and the only way to dispose of these rogue spirits is by splashing them with water from the Styx -an ancient river in the underworld- and you do this by demolishing the dirt under you making water splash onto the ghosts, also be careful not to let any water touch you or you will disintegrate too.

Square Shot is a 2d shooter I made for the Geo-Jam which is my second game jam

Sort some shapes, by yourself or with a friend.  Get the colored shapes onto their corresponding side. If you take too long or sort them incorrectly, they explode, dealing a bunch of damage.

"Affirmation Fish" is a 2D pixel game about facing inner doubts and anxieties, and using healthy coping strategies like affirmations and visualizations.

"Synthwave" is a top-down shooter. For every level, there will be two different rooms, each filled with its own enemies. You will have to pick one of the sides to fight. Once you've killed all the enemies in that side, you move on to the next level.

Have you the courage to be a Cosmic Worm? Take the control, eat stars and evolve the creature.

Natural Solutions appears, at first glance, to be nothing more than another pharmaceutical startup. Another entry on the list, one that no one has given a second look. It's just another small company that'll probably go under soon, after all.

In the distant Veggiland, a once calm and peaceful place, weird things are happening. Vegetables citizens going missing, only to come back a couple of days later, corrupted and evil. Even the loved king, KingCumber, has fallen to that evil.

HTML5: For the web version, the game was exported using another renderer due to performance issues. Since no adjustments were made to the game, some lighting and particle effects are missing and there are still problems with the sound. Please consider downloading one of the other builds for a better experience.
